North West Life Sciences Facility is located at Collooney, Co Sligo. The area is well served in terms of road access being located along the N4 dual carriage-way linking Sligo and Dublin and the N17 Sligo Galway/Limerick route. It is also ideally located to all other road networks serving the counties of Leitrim, Mayo, Roscommon and Northern Ireland.

Accommodation is plentiful with top class hotels including Sligo Park Hotel, Castle Dargan Hotel and the renowned Markree Castle, in Collooney itself. Facilities in these hotels include top class restaurants, leisure, golf and spa treatments.

The intercity Sligo Dublin rail link stops at Collooney rail station. The area is adjacent to Sligo regional airport some 10 kilometres away and Ireland West Airport Knock is located only 50 kilometres away. Both Dublin airport and Belfasts two airports are also within easy reach.

The area has access to good public transport with stops for main intercity bus services to Dublin, Galway, Limerick and Derry. Local commuter services are provided by a number of private operators on a daily basis.
