Architectural Design

The North West Life Science Facility has incorporated into its architectural design, the prerequisites necessary for state-of-the-art cleanroom suites, and associated GMP requirements, ensuring adequate room for process, and building services such as HVAC and associated duct work. It also has adequate provision for support areas such as warehousing, and administration areas. The design and construction of the units will incorporate adequate flexibility for the client to make changes to the foot-print at minimal cost and disruption, at a later stage, should the business need dictate.

The Units

The entire facility comprises of three units totaling 2030.91 square meters, the ground floor space been 1184 square meters and first floor 846.89 square meters. Cleanroom space will measure that which is required by an individual business with non-cleanroom space been utilised for administration, manufacturing or warehousing purposes.

Unit 1

This Unit measures 620.14 square metres, 344.43 on the ground floor and 275.70 on the first floor.

Unit 2

This Unit measures 767.76 square metres, 484.20 on the ground floor and 283.56 on the first floor.

Unit 3

This Unit measures 643.01 square metres, 355.37 on the ground floor and 287.63 on the first floor

At Northwest Life Sciences we understand that the cleanroom requirements of a business may change as the business expands and diversifies. To meet such changes the cleanroom design will be modular, thus allowing for ease should a business require upgrade to a higher classification or should the cleanroom need to be expanded or modified. It is important that a business can perform critical modifications / upgrades to their existing facility without disruption to its output.
